It was memorable that Robert Berg, a senior fellow at the Stimson Center, urged at a meeting with members of the National Diet of Japan that Japanese politicians and diplomats speak more confidently and forcefully about the need to maintain international peace and security through dialogue, given their experiences and achievements.
